The scheme
The mobility lease: a temporary furnished let, flexible by design
Created by the French ELAN law, the mobility lease (« bail mobilité ») is a short-term furnished rental contract: 1 to 10 months, non-renewable, reserved for people on the move. No security deposit may be requested, the tenant may leave at any time with one month’s notice, and the free Visale guarantee can apply.
At Villa Zenorya we offer it for 1 to 8 months between October and May — every lease ends by the end of May at the latest, before the summer season.

The villa is let under a mobility lease for 1 to 8 months, between October and May. Every lease ends by the end of May at the latest — the ideal season for a quiet winter twenty minutes from Bordeaux.

Example: three full months = 3 × €2,700 = €8,100. Three months and ten days = €8,100 + 10 × €90 = €9,000.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you enquire
Who can sign a mobility lease?
Anyone in vocational training, higher education, an apprenticeship, an internship, civic-service volunteering, relocating or on a temporary assignment. Proof of the situation is attached to the contract.
How long, and can it be extended?
From 1 to 8 months at the villa (the law allows up to 10). The lease cannot be renewed or rolled over, but its length can be changed once by amendment, up to 10 months in total. All our leases end by the end of May at the latest.
Is a security deposit required?
No: the law forbids it for the mobility lease. The free Visale guarantee can cover unpaid rent and damage.
Can I leave before the end?
Yes, at any time, with one month’s notice. Rent is due until the end of the notice period, calculated pro rata (€90 per day).
What does the rent include?
Everything: the furnished and equipped villa, electricity, water, internet, garden and pool maintenance, a monthly clean, household linen. All that remains is the tourist tax where applicable and, of course, your groceries.
How do the viewing and signature work?
Remotely: the professional photos are faithful, we talk by phone or WhatsApp, the lease is signed electronically and you check in on your own thanks to the smart lock.
Can I come with my family or a baby?
Yes: the villa sleeps up to six people in three suites, plus a baby (travel cot and high chair available). The pool is secured and closed from October to April.
And for a shorter stay?
From June to September the villa is let by the week; the rest of the year, for a few nights or by the month, with direct booking and instant rates. See rates and terms →
